things i've done since the freezing happened:
- medical LOA is under motion. meeting with dean vigil set tomorrow.
- followed up with kai. his follow up is gated by his active packing/moving. he will follow up in 7-10 days.
- sent an email to amherst alumn ned desmond who is a senior advisor who very likely oversaw demo days in sosv sf/ny (indiebio).
things im about to do:
- wednesday: meeting with dean vigil and andy teu to continue the medical leave effort
- sort out the housing. start planning right after the meeting with dean vigil.
- on tuition + dewar enrollment: since i opted in for the insurance, i should be able to get most of the tuition fee back
- friday: sectioning starts. get trained on that.
- after sectioning: send follow up about setting up the 3-way meeting w/ b and sun
- mid-april (4/14): wait for z fellows result. follow up with baylor regardless of whether the ENR result is in my hand or not.
- 4/15-17: kai might follow up with me. call him. perhaps understand what is best suited for me (from his pov, not the objective truth but his opinions about my next steps, and perhaps intel from thiel through him?) short term.
- 4/18: follow-up with ned if he hadn't already responded through email. if he still doesn't reply, try linkedin since he's active there.
- later this month: get (good) ENR result and bulletproof my internal narrative by time of ENR result and call Suzanne right away.
everything is foggy right now. and this is not the time to panic. there's no brilliant move to make anytime soon. i just cannot afford any blunder. the two biggest missing puzzle pieces are the ENR result, and what beatriz's discovery from iCorps is. these strengthens my narrative. and that narrative needs to be internally complete before i even decide what type of, or how many opportunities to apply for.
obey only to the model. everything else is noise.
