20 is the new transfer day; one-day advancement because we cannot afford the EBs universally (from manual inspection) suffer from the 96w geometry.
the edge rows/columns' designation (to exclude from reference at the gates) are now provisional, since rigid designation will lead to a covariate screening calculation protocol that think the new edge won't suffer.
three steps: 96w independent calculation, 24w independent calculation (if endpoint exceeds 19), and final curation based on holistic exclusion.
